Ric D. Alexander, D.C. has developed a revolutionary natural-healing therapy known as Precision Muscle Balancing Technology (PMBT). His therapy has greatly improved, or restored to normal, numerous conditions that most doctors believe impossible to correct. He has helped patients have recover from scoliosis, osteoarthritis, bunions, disc herniations, TMJ problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, dowager’s hump, and many other painful conditions. Dr. Alexander currently owns and operates the Institute of Precision Muscle Balancing, a successful chiropractic practice in North Hollywood, California. His patients include motion picture and television stars, stunt performers, professional athletes, doctors, bodybuilders, and physical therapists. Before becoming a doctor he owned and operated his own personal fitness training and nutrition counseling business for 10 years. He has devised many unique exercises and specialized in designing workout programs for busy people. His programs provide maximum results in minimum time and utilize correct joint alignment to avoid injury.
Dr. Ric has been working out and studying nutrition and a multitude of natural-healing techniques for over 40 years. (Acupressure, reflexology, hypnosis, yoga, meditation, Neurovascular Dynamics, emotional balancing, and stretching, to name a few.) While in Vietnam serving in the U.S. Army, he received a Bronze Star award for his efforts. He also taught Tae Kwon Do for two years.
Dr. Alexander enjoys educating and helping others. This is reflected in his writing and in his goal to train doctors all over the world in the practice of PMBT. So far in his efforts he has created a series of videos designed to teach people how to treat their own arthritic hands, carpal tunnel syndrome, golfer’s elbow and tennis elbow. Dr. Alexander graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles. He previously studied psychology at the University of Utah. He is also a member of the American College of Sports Medicine.
